Student Seeing Password Request

There are only 3 ways that a student might see a password request while attempting to start a LockDown Browser test:

1. Faculty have added a password in addition to the one that LockDown Browser passes to Blackboard.
2. Students are on a slow network connection. They should simply continue to the test.
3. Student are not actually using LockDown Browser. Carefully reading the error message may indicate that they need to use LockDown Browser and that a password is required. The solution is to use LockDown Browser and no password is needed. See image or go to
